It’s been teased that he has no intention of working in such conditions again, with him instead enjoying quality time with loved ones now. Chris said: “These days I’m catching up with a lot of time with people I love. I’ve been to Borneo and we took the kids on safari in South Africa. It was marvellous.”

Chris added that podcasts have become popular lately, though suggested that he isn’t particularly interested in doing one himself. He said: “Everyone is doing a podcast, but there are so many other things I’d rather be doing. Even with shows that I like, I think ‘I can’t be bothered’. I’m just not interested.” At one point in his career, Chris was hosting the ITV quiz show and fronting Capital FM’s breakfast show. It meant early starts for the presenter, who told the outlet that he was “knackered” at the time and wouldn’t be up for that now.
