Ingram rents an annex to a 18th century farmhouse overlooking cattle sheds and grain barns in the village of Maiden Bradley on the border of Wiltshire and Somerset.The picturesque property is in West Wiltshire Downs, which is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Although his home is on a sprawling dairy farm he plays no role in farming and is instead a paying tenant of the Duchy of Somerset.Ingram, then aged 38, amazed audiences in 2001 when he scooped the top prize on the ITV primetime show while answering erratically to host Chris Tarrant’s questions.
