Chris added that podcasts have become popular recently, although he suggested that he himself is not particularly interested in doing them. He said: “Everyone does podcasts, but there are a lot of other things I’d rather be doing. Even the shows I like, I think, ‘I don’t care about that.’ I’m just not interested in it.” At one point in his career, Chris hosted an ITV quiz show and was the host of Capital FM’s breakfast show. This meant an early start for the presenter, who told the publication that he was “exhausted” at the time and wasn’t ready for it now.

He shared, “For 17 years I would get up at 5am and crawl into the studio to start work at 6am. I did that kind of thing for donkey years. In a way, it’s almost brainless. radio, then went to see a show called “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” and then went home and fell asleep. Then I’d get up and do it again. It was an amazing time. It was a great time in my life. But we were all exhausted.”
It is teased that he has no intention of working in those conditions again and is now instead having a good time with loved ones. Chris said: “Right now I’m spending a lot of time with people I love. I’ve been to Borneo and we took the kids on a safari in South Africa. It was wonderful.”
