In the United States, a herd of cows that escaped from a farm terrorised residents of a town in the state of Pennsylvania. This is reported by UPI.

People complained that the animals have been freely roaming for several months in the neighbourhood of Brookhaven in Mars Township, entering yards, spoiling gardens and destroying Christmas decorations.

What’s more, sometimes bulls wander into yards along with the cows. “My neighbour across the street has a bull gone to sleep right next to his cars in his driveway. They get into backyards. And they shit everywhere,” Ben Ratjen said.

Two large pandas, given by China to the UK in 2011, will return home in December. This was announced at a briefing on Friday by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier BBC News reported that the two pandas spent the last day in the enclosure in front of the public and are preparing to depart from the zoo in Edinburgh to China. The pandas Yang Guang and Tian Tian arrived in Scotland in December 2011 as part of an agreement between the Zoological Society of Scotland and the China Wildlife Conservation Association. The pandas’ lease was for ten years, but was extended for two years due to a new coronavirus infection pandemic.

“According to the provisions of the co-operation agreement between the UK and China, the big pandas Yang Guang and Tian Tian will return to China after the lease expires in December,” Wang Wenbin said. He also said that China has already prepared everything for the pandas’ arrival and is looking forward to them.
